BBL HEROic targets visible pigment and redness while MOXI targets sun spots, age spots, and freckles. When appropriate, a provider may combine them in a personalized rejuvenation plan.
Keep the follicle intact by avoiding waxing, plucking, threading, and epilators for about four weeks. Avoid tanning and self-tanner for at least two weeks, shave about 24 hours before, and arrive with clean, dry skin.
Temporary redness, warmth, or small follicle-like dots can occur. Avoid heat, sweating, friction, and irritating actives for 24–48 hours; protect treated skin from sun and do not pluck shedding hairs.
MOXI can be appropriate across a broad range of skin types, but settings, timing, sun exposure, melasma history, and medical factors still require an individualized provider assessment.
Series recommendations vary by device, concern, skin response, and treatment area. Your provider will give you a schedule after evaluating your skin rather than promising a fixed result.
