Forever Clear BBL® for active breakouts treatment at Glow Beauty Lab
What it is

For acne that is active right now

Forever Clear BBL® runs on Glow's Sciton® platform, which is FDA-cleared for the treatment of mild to moderate inflammatory and pustular acne vulgaris. It is used as part of an acne plan rather than instead of one — your provider will look at what is driving the breakouts and what you are using at home before recommending it. Acne scarring is a separate concern and is addressed with microneedling, not with this treatment.

  • Cleared for mild to moderate inflammatory acne vulgaris
  • No medication to remember daily
  • Can sit alongside your existing routine
  • Comfortable, with cooling at the handpiece
  • Planned as a short series and then reviewed

Good to know

Forever Clear BBL® for active breakouts questions

Will this clear my acne permanently?

No treatment can promise that. Forever Clear BBL® is cleared to treat mild to moderate inflammatory acne, and it is used as part of a plan alongside home care. Your provider will tell you honestly whether it is likely to help your particular pattern of breakouts.

What about the marks and scars left behind?

Those are a different concern. Flat red or brown marks often settle with time and pigment-focused care; indented scars are addressed with a microneedling series. Your provider will separate the two at the consultation so you are not paying for the wrong treatment.

Is it appropriate for cystic acne?

Moderate to severe or cystic acne usually needs medical management, and sometimes a dermatology referral. Glow will tell you when that is the safer route rather than starting a series that is unlikely to be enough.

What happens during and after?

The treatment is quick and comfortable, with cooling at the handpiece. Mild redness or warmth is common for a few hours. Your provider will tell you what to pause in your routine and for how long.

How many sessions?

A short series is typical, then reviewed. The number depends on how active the acne is and how your skin responds, so it is not quoted before your skin is seen.

Who performs it?

Laser treatments at Glow are performed by South Carolina–licensed medical professionals under medical supervision, after an individual evaluation.
