None of these are automatically a problem — but they change how, or whether, we treat you that day. Call 843-903-0108 if you are unsure.
Because waxing removes the follicle, and the follicle is what the treatment targets. Turning up waxed usually means the session is wasted or rescheduled. Shave instead — it leaves the follicle in place.
We will most likely reschedule you. Treating tanned or recently sun-exposed skin raises the risk of burns and pigment change. It is not us being cautious for the sake of it.
Hair grows in cycles and only actively growing hairs respond, so a series is planned rather than a fixed number promised. Your provider will give you a schedule after assessing your hair, skin and the area. See laser hair removal for how the treatment works.
Yes. Shaving is the only hair removal method to use during a series — waxing, plucking and threading all remove the follicle.
